    2. Laser Sintering (SLS)

      Laser Sintering (SLS)

With SLS 3D printing, we manufacture resilient plastic components with a high level of detail and excellent mechanical properties. Our additive manufacturing solutions enable the fast and economical production of functional prototypes and small series for a wide range of industries. Technical advantages: • Complex geometries without support structures - ideal for delicate components, internal structures and moving components. • High mechanical resilience - components with high strength and good impact resistance, suitable for functional tests and end applications. • Variety of materials for different requirements - PA 12, PA 605-Al, PA 11 CF Black, PP and TPU 70 for specific mechanical, thermal and chemical properties. • Heat resistance and chemical resistance - depending on the material, high temperature resistance and resistance to aggressive substances. • Material efficiency through recycling - reduced waste quantities by reusing the non-sintered powder. • Precision up to 0.1 mm layer thickness - high dimensional accuracy and fine surfaces for functional prototypes and series production. Our SLS 3D printing process is used in numerous industries: • Automotive & aviation: functional prototypes and lightweight components • Mechanical engineering & electronics: precise components with high mechanical strength • Medical technology: hygienic and stable components for medical applications • Consumer goods & sports: lightweight, tailor-made products with high resilience Speedpart – your partner for SLS 3D printing With our modern ProX sintering station, we manufacture detailed components with wall thicknesses from 0.6 mm and high surface quality. Thanks to several production facilities, we offer fast delivery times – even for larger quantities.

      LASER-ETCHINGENGRAVING

TRADITION MEETS HIGH-TECH. Making use of combined digital and analog processes in Laser-EtchingEngraving, KRÜTH blends both traditional techniques and the latest in technology. The laser transfers the design to a protective enamel applied to the tool. The laser eats away the enamel, creating the engraving pattern, and preparing the steel for the subsequent etching process. The final engraving is created in an acid bath where the areas on the material’s surface which have been cleared by the laser are ablated. The process is completed once the surface has been rinsed and the degree of gloss has been adjusted. Depending on the engraving image desired, the process steps may be repeated a number of times. In addition to the so-called single-layer engravings, KRÜTH also makes up multi-layer engravings.

The SLS method is also a technology in which the part is manufactured in layers. In this case the parts are produced by melting powdered thermoplastics with a laser. This method is particularly suitable in order to produce functional, mechanically loadable prototypes to which no special demands are made to the surface. The material properties of the components correspond to almost 90% of the later series parts. Five different materials, from the TPU to filled polyamide, partially biocompatible per USP Class VI or fire protection class V-0 and blue-card certificate, are available.
