Highly filled materials / powder injection molding
Highly filled plastics with more than 40% vol. filler content achieve special properties such as high density, thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity or magnetic properties. Powder injection molding combines the high precision and design freedom of injection molding with the outstanding properties of metal or ceramic materials. In both processes, our expertise ranges from material selection to the production of samples and prototypes to series production.

HIPEX®
HIPEX® sheets are flawlessly extruded A-PET and PET-G thermoplastic polyester sheets. They stand out particularly in the transparent plastics sector because they are fire rated "difficult-to-ignite".

Hoegomid® 66 GF25 FRV0 - our sustainable PA 6.6 GF 25 V0 granulate - 100% recycled, but technically at the highest level. For a strong future with maximum performance and minimum ecological footprint
The increasing requirements for flame-retardant plastics and the simultaneous desire for low CO₂ emissions pose major challenges for the industry. HP-T Höglmeier Polymer-Tech GmbH & Co. KG has set itself the task of developing customized plastic regranulates and compounds that meet the highest environmental standards. Our flexible production facilities cover both the smallest quantities and large-scale industrial standards. One of the latest developments from HP-T Höglmeier Polymer-Tech GmbH & Co. KG is a plastic that combines high mechanical strength, rigidity and excellent flame retardancy with a significantly reduced CO₂ footprint. The material Hoegomid® 66 GF25 FRV0 is suitable for almost all technical applications, especially in electronics and electrical engineering, where it offers numerous advantages. When developing this material, the focus was on subsequent usability by the customer and on reducing the environmental impact. Up to 80% of the raw materials used come from recycled post-industrial materials. The electricity required for production is generated almost entirely from renewable sources. Due to the short delivery routes of the raw materials and the self-generated electricity, production has a significantly lower environmental impact than the manufacture of new goods. The result is a halogen-free, flame-retardant PA 6.6 GF 25 material that can be easily processed by extrusion or injection molding. Despite the necessary flame retardant additives, a rich black color is possible. The flame retardancy of the material has been certified to UL94 V0 for thicknesses of 1.6 mm and 0.8 mm and is therefore ideal for electronic and electrical applications. HP-T Höglmeier Polymer-Tech GmbH & Co. KG thus offers an innovative solution that combines high performance with sustainability - for an environmentally friendly future in plastics technology.

Hybrid components
Hybrid injection molding technology creates a form-fit connection between a thermoplastic and other components made of materials such as metal, ceramic, glass, fabric or electronic components in a single process step. This type of joint replaces the traditional joining or bonding of other plastic components, eliminating additional process steps. Wherever a force needs to be transmitted as precisely as possible, a low-wear metal bearing makes sense; where signals need to be transmitted, cables and connectors need to be firmly connected to a component; where a screw connection is subject to mechanical stress and would eventually tear out of the plastic, a combination of plastic and metal is the answer. The stable positioning of the inserts in the injection mold plays an important role in ensuring the accurate fit and longevity of the entire component. A distinction is made between insert and outsert technology. In insert technology, metal parts are incorporated into a part that is primarily plastic. In outsert technology, the majority of the part consists of another component onto which plastic elements are molded.acad's Rapid Molding System enables the cost-effective use of inserts, even in small quantities, by using gravity for positioning without the need for complex handling systems. acad can support you in the field of hybrid injection molding technology and advise you comprehensively on your questions.
