MKV has decades of experience in the compounding of engineering and high performance plastics and can handle a wide varitey of additives, fillers and masterbatches. The MKV develops and tailors its compounds to the specific customer needs.

Compounds
The customized compounds from Delta Kunststoffe are specially tailored to the various processing methods and requirements. We take into account both the properties of the base plastics and the influence of our modifications in order to adapt all formulations individually to the respective requirement profile. This applies, for example, to color compounds, compounds for special applications, construction materials and all materials that meet the latest regulatory requirements.

pal plast is expanding its range to include compounds containing up to 100 per cent recycled content from qualified post-consumer recycling (PCR) sources.

Compounds for Injection Moulding and Extrusion
Compounds for injection moulding and extrusion. pal plast will present material grades with controlled, adjustable viscosity and stable processing characteristics, suitable for the manufacture of dimensionally accurate injection-moulded parts as well as sheets, profiles and pipes.

Compounds tailored for electrical conductivity or flame retardancy
New flame-retardant compounds will also be presented as a preview at Kuteno. These materials are currently under development and are designed for technical applications where increasing fire protection requirements are crucial. The aim is to combine functional safety, processability, and, in the future, recyclability.

Computed tomography scan service for plastic parts
From 2024, we will be offering a service for non-destructive testing of various components with our ‘industrial computed tomography’ measurement service. Thanks to our experience and outstanding technology, we can not only provide you with volume models, but also real problem solutions. Industrial computed tomography (CT) is revolutionising quality assurance and product development in industry. This advanced technology enables non-destructive, three-dimensional scanning of workpieces, components and materials. By precisely detecting internal structures and defects, industrial CT offers unrivalled insights into material properties. Our industrial computed tomography solutions are designed to meet the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. They enable detailed analysis of components and products. From manufacturing inspection to failure analysis, CT technology provides comprehensive insight into the quality and integrity of components. With a state-of-the-art CT scanner and user-friendly software, we offer customised solutions for various industries, including automotive, aerospace, electronics and medical technology. Our systems provide precise 3D reconstructions and enable a virtual representation of components, allowing companies to detect defects early and optimise product development.

CON-Batch 30X
Do you want to save 30 % polypropylen in your formulation while maintaining the properties? Together with the Institute for Plastics Technology at the University of Stuttgart, we have developed a special product to be able to produce thermal films more sustainably by saving energy and materials. This project was funded by the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU). With our new product CONSTAB® CON-Batch 30X, films can be produced more densely and firmly - the film thickness, on the other hand, can be reduced by about 25 %, the heating power by about 20 %.

Conductive Compounds
By specifically modifying plastics, we ensure reliable protection of electronic components against discharge processes and prevent static charges that could potentially damage electrical components. Our range now includes more than 50 standard products in a variety of polymers.

Conformal cooling
In contrast to conventional drilling cooling, contour-close cooling channels run close to the geometry along the cavity. Targeted heat dissipation enables a homogeneous mold temperature and significantly shortens the cooling phase. This method is particularly worthwhile for complex component geometries, tight tolerances, visible surfaces, and materials with challenging thermal behavior. In addition to improving quality, cycle times can be reduced and process stability and tool performance can be sustainably improved.

At Ebert Kunststoffbearbeitung, we master the highest quality plastic joining techniques – from mechanical fixation to thermal and chemical joining processes. With decades of experience and a keen understanding of materials and applications, we join a wide variety of materials precisely and permanently – whether bonding or welding. Our specialists are certified in both welding and bonding according to DVS guidelines – ensuring permanently reliable connections even in demanding applications.
