Eschmann Textures International GmbH, Gummersbach, in cooperation with GRAFE, Blankenhain, has developed a new method with which a wide variety of colour and texture effects can be cost-effectively combined in a blow mould. The basis is a digitally printed, flexible film carrier for which the process is named - Digiflex. It offers cost and time optimisation and is suitable for rapid design validation, material testing and product evaluation. Short series production is also possible.

The carrier systems for the Deltacolor MB color masterbatches include PP, PE, PA, PS, ABs, POM, TPE and EVA and a-Olefin. By combining pigments, UV stabilization and process optimization additives, it offers multifunctional and economical solutions for colouring plastics.

Accompanying the booklet is a selection of sample tiles in a distinctive hexagonal shape. Each tile shows its own combination of polymer, trend color formulation, surface, and effect pigment. In addition to conventional plastics of petrochemical origin such as PA, PAGF30, SAN, PETG, and recycled rPETG, biological alternatives such as PLA, PHA, and ARBOBLEND V2 also serve as base polymers for the hexagons.
