Pioneering economic thermoplast solutions: Strength meets Sustainability

Extreme strength at maximum cost-efficiency: Pultrusion is a continuous process in which endless fibers impregnated with matrix material are shaped and pulled through the system. We use different fibres and thermoplastic matrix materials to meet your requirements. Benefits: • Weldable • Thermally reformable • Recyclable • Cost-efficient light-weight solution • Resistant to a wide range of chemicals • Wide range of operating temperature • Inserts for injection moulded or pressed components

Planova®: Bio-based and biodegradable PLA films

With our innovative Planova films, based on PLA, we are setting new standards in this area. These are an integral part of our sustainable product range. PLA is a type of bioplastic. This term refers to plastics that are made from renewable raw materials as well as those that are biodegradable or compostable. PLA is made from sugar cane or corn starch, for example, and is therefore industrially compostable and decomposes under certain conditions into CO2 and water alone. Material with a sustainable future: SÜDPACK Planova films reduce the CO₂-footprint, decrease the need for finite, petroleum-based raw materials, and thus protect the environment and climate. In addition, the films are food-safe (FOOD CERT). At the POS, the bio-based films impress with their high transparency and gloss, pleasant feel, and diverse design options.

PlastFormance technology delivers unrivaled physical properties properties for various product segments

Our high-performance compounds have a wide range of applications in a wide variety of industries. By adding various fillers, our compounds are not only thermally conductive, but can also have magnetic properties or protect against radiation. This enables us to serve a wide range of industries from mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automotive, medicine and nuclear technology.

    4. Plastic 3D Printing

      Plastic 3D Printing

Hardly any other field has so many different processes as plastic 3D printing. This is why there is often confusion and mistakes in terminology. We see the big picture and support our customers in choosing the right process for them. We have the following to choose from: Hybrid PhotoSynthesis (HPS) Stereolithography (SLA/STL) Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) Polyjet Multijet Fusion (MJF) Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) Digital Light Processing (DLP) No matter what properties your project requires – high temperature resistance, tensile strength, self-extinguishing properties, rail vehicle or aircraft approval, biocompatibility, food-safety – we have the solution for you!

    5. Plastic gear parts

      Plastic gear parts

With 60 years of experience in the production of a wide variety of gearing parts, F. Morat is one of the pioneers in precision plastic injection molding. We know the advantages and peculiarities of each type of gearing and can therefore find the right individual solution. By optimizing the gearing geometry, our products offer you an advantage that gives you a competitive edge in the global marketplace. In the production of technical injection-moulded parts, we process all thermoplastics such as POM, PA6/66, PA11/12, PA 4.6, PBT, PC, PEI, PPA, PPE, PPS or PFA and make the best possible use of their specific properties. F. Morat is one of the few manufacturers that can also process a wide range of fillers and reinforcing materials as well as the high-temperature-resistant plastic PEEK. This material is preferred when high mechanical and thermal strength as well as resistance to chemicals and hydrolysis are required. Over the past 30 years, we have acquired an enormous wealth of experience in this area. The material PEEK with its enormous strength can only be used for precision plastic injection molded parts by adhering to the narrowest process windows and optimal tool concepts. Mastering this wide range of materials ensures that the most suitable material is used for each application.
