Planova®: Bio-based and biodegradable PLA films
With our innovative Planova films, based on PLA, we are setting new standards in this area. These are an integral part of our sustainable product range. PLA is a type of bioplastic. This term refers to plastics that are made from renewable raw materials as well as those that are biodegradable or compostable. PLA is made from sugar cane or corn starch, for example, and is therefore industrially compostable and decomposes under certain conditions into CO2 and water alone. Material with a sustainable future: SÜDPACK Planova films reduce the CO₂-footprint, decrease the need for finite, petroleum-based raw materials, and thus protect the environment and climate. In addition, the films are food-safe (FOOD CERT). At the POS, the bio-based films impress with their high transparency and gloss, pleasant feel, and diverse design options.

Plasma Unit ST-PU
Die ST Systems Plasma-Units der PU Serie werden vorrangig bei der In-Line Vorbehandlung von u.a. Spritzgussformteilen, Kunststoffprofilen usw. eingesetzt. Plasma-Unit ST-PUS
The ST Systems plasma units of the PUS series are primarily used for the in-line pre-treatment of injection-molded parts, plastic profiles, adhesive grooves, and folding boxes, etc. In the case of surfaces that are difficult to wet (plastics, metals, glass, etc.), pre-treatment of the surface is, in most cases, necessary in order to prepare it for optimal coating (printing, laminating, gluing, painting, etc.).

F. Morat is one of the few manufacturers that can also process a wide range of fillers and reinforcing materials as well as the high-temperature-resistant plastic PEEK. This material is preferred when high mechanical and thermal strength as well as resistance to chemicals and hydrolysis are required.
