ATHLONExtrusions® ABS
ATHLONExtrusions® ABS is an engineering thermoplastic material with excellent impact strength used in areas where toughness and durability are of key importance. Produced in an infinite range of colours, finishes and textures. Excellent processability with a wide thermoforming temperature window. There are a very wide range of grades available to suit a multitude of applications.

ATHLONExtrusions® HIPS
ATHLONExtrusions® HIPS is a versatile, economic, solid thermoplastic characterised by its ease of processing in flat sheet and thermoforming applications. It is available in an infinite range of opaque colours including special effects such as pearlescent, metallic and FX and can be extruded in gloss or matt, the latter in a variety of surface textures.

ATHLONExtrusions® PMMA/ABS
ATHLONExtrusions® PMMA/ABS is a multi-layer, combination of PMMA co-extruded on high impact ABS. The benefits of this construction include an excellent A-face finish in a range of matt levels. Properties included within the range include superior scratch resistance, improved chemical resistance and excellent UV stability. These grades are all offered in an extremely wide variety of colours including metallics, pearlescent colours and a “FX” range. Easy processing during thermoforming and fabrication in all grades except the furniture products.

Automation
Even the most dedicated employee eventually needs to call it a day – but our “Robbis” don’t. They work reliably around the clock and are therefore an essential part of our production operations. With our own automation department, we ensure stable processes, high system availability, and consistently superior component quality. Already during the initial customer inquiry, we analyze the potential for automated manufacturing and define the possible level of automation with full transparency. Based on this, we create a clear and structured quotation that precisely outlines the automation potential for each project. When needed, we produce prototypes using 3D printing. For industrialization, we rely on high-quality robotics, standardized modular components, and a high degree of in-house production depth in our automation solutions. Validation takes place in parallel with component qualification, ensuring that both processes align seamlessly. Where necessary, automated optical and mechanical inspection systems enable 100% inspection of every single part – meeting even the most demanding requirements, including 0-ppm targets. The result is automation that is technically sophisticated, economically efficient, and precisely tailored to the needs of each project.

Gindele GmbH produces medical secretion bags for Medela AG The Medela disposable collection system offers the user reliability through intelligent design. Safe and hygienic fluid management in the operating room is made easy. The simple one-handed operation makes it easy to use and contributes to efficiency in the operating room process. On behalf of the Swiss company Medela, an innovative assembly line was implemented that impresses with its process-reliable and downtime-free operation. The system is characterized by the direct linking of the upstream injection molding process and thus enables highly efficient and high-quality production. Gindele GmbH was able to implement this system in a short time through cooperation with several partners. Integrated quality control ensures consistently high quality. The successful implementation of this project underlines Gindele's competence as an innovative partner for the medical technology industry. It is an example of future-oriented technology and close cooperation in this area. The system impresses with its high process reliability, efficiency and flexibility and fully meets Medela's high standards of quality and reliability.
