Measuring center for tool shop and technical molding center

Tactile and optical measurements accurate to the micrometer (µm). At Precupa, we have invested in a very comprehensive metrology department, where we perform measurements on individual steel parts such as mold inserts, mold cores, and mold plates. This also allows us to evaluate the dimensional accuracy of injection-molded components, both for initial samples and during series production, with comprehensive documentation. The following measuring instruments are available in-house:
-3D CMM coordinate measuring machine
-Contour measuring machine
-Digital microscope (optical zoom range 30:1 = 725x optical, 9000x digital zoom)
-3D profile measuring machine
-3D structured light scanner
-3D laser scanner

Tolerances of +/- 2 µm can be measured tactilely and optically using the CMM or scanner. Even greater precision is possible with the profile measuring machine.
