About us
The Handtmann Group combines over 150 years of tradition with an innovative, future-oriented approach. Founded in 1968, Albert Handtmann Elteka GmbH & Co. KG, an independent company within the Handtmann Group, has become the global market leader in the production and processing of PA 12C. The high-tech materials LTK® PURE and LTK® METAL CORE (formerly Lauramid®), LTK® COMPOSITE (formerly HiCompelt®), and LTK® INJECT (formerly Lauramid Inject®), developed in our in-house laboratories, are used in mechanical engineering as components or complete systems across a wide range of industries. The material LTK® ADDITIVE (formerly 3D Filament) complements the product portfolio. Renowned customers worldwide rely on our cast component solutions – Handtmann Elteka has an international presence. Two years ago, Handtmann Kunststofftechnik was further enhanced by the acquisition of Kegelmann Technik GmbH. This brings an additional 35 years of expertise in engineering, prototyping, and small-batch production, utilizing our in-house 3D printing, injection molding, and CNC machining capabilities, to our service portfolio. Thanks to our own toolmaking department, extremely short lead times for samples are possible. This allows plastics and technology to perfectly complement each other in our product range. The technological knowledge we have acquired over many years provides our customers with unique advantages in the production of models, prototypes, tools, and end products. From A-sample to C-sample, we are at your side.

Different materials, such as 1.4404 or AlSi10Mg, but also PA11, PA12 or combinations with TPU, make our 3D printing range highly flexible. Of course, we can also deliver within 24 hours. However, we offer a further service that is difficult to find in many portals: We support you in the design of your parts with our 'Additive Thinking' method. Tool Construction
From aluminium to steel – Kegelmann Technik manufactures the tools for production exclusively in-house. Whether smaller quantities of 5, 50 or 500, high volumes up to 500 000, small series or mass-produced products – we produce for you always quality-assured, fast and cost-effective according to your specific requirements. Of course, we adapt ourselves to your marketing and sales strategies at any time – for example by delivering partial orders and a flexible circulation control.

Injection Moulding
If you want to produce cost-effective, direct-to-use molded parts in small or large quantities, our injection molding department provides a solid basis for an efficient production of prototypes (A-to C-samples) and small batches (up to 300.000pcs.). Due to the large number of injection molding machines in our machine park, we can offer you a variety of production possibilities and thus realize your individual requirements. We also have special expertise in hybrid and 1K/2K LSR injection-molded components.

Handtmann AM Competence Center – 35 Years of Experience and Innovation in 3D. In Rodgau, we have established our Handtmann AM Competence Center – a place where over 35 years of expertise and pioneering spirit in the field of additive manufacturing (AM) are concentrated. Since 1989, we have been actively shaping the future of 3D printing and setting standards in the additive manufacturing of a wide variety of materials – from plastics to aluminum. Our goal: Additive manufacturing at the highest level, from the initial idea to the finished component. At the heart of our work is the direct implementation of your concepts into tangible prototypes, functional parts, and series production components. Thanks to state-of-the-art technologies and materials such as Lauramid® PA12C, we manufacture durable, robust, and precise components – individually or in series. The entire process chain – from data preparation (slicing and nesting) through the actual printing process to surface finishing, coloring, or mechanical post-processing – takes place at our competence center in Rodgau. This guarantees you the highest quality, maximum flexibility, and short lead times: everything from a single source, all Made in Rodgau. With our investment in the Q.Big 3D – one of the most advanced large-format printers worldwide – we are able to produce components with a volume of over 1 m³. And all this at attractive material costs, as we can process standard injection molding materials. In the SLS sector, we rely on the Farsoon HT601P-2 with two laser heads, enabling us to offer maximum precision with significantly reduced production times, even for large production runs. Whether FFF, SLA, SLM, MJF, or SLS – we have a wide range of additive manufacturing processes at our disposal, processing not only our own PA12C recycled material, but also many other materials for a variety of requirements.
