FORMEOTEC sets a milestone with the largest investment in the company's history.

We recognize the need to expand our range of services and adapt to constantly changing market developments. That's why we're investing in another mainstay at our headquarters in Röslau: additive manufacturing. With this step we not only want to strengthen our innovative strength, but also consolidate our position in the market. The previous department size of 60 square meters is now expanded to an impressive 650 square meters! We rely on systems from WEBER Additive, EOS, Nexa3D, 3D Systems, DyeMansion, Markforged, Formlabs and Prusa3D, among others. Project completion is scheduled for mid-2024.

The company IWS GmbH gave the starting signal for the project last week by beginning the soil renovation work. In the first calendar week of 2024, we relocated six injection molding machines to our factory in Bad Berneck to make room for expansion.

By 2027, we are planning to completely specialize the Röslau site in additive manufacturing technologies in two further investment and expansion steps. All injection molding capacities will be pooled in our branch in Bad Berneck by 2027, which is ideal for further growth in the injection molding sector due to its size and direct motorway connection.

This is a big step for us and an even bigger step for our future.
