Handtmann AM Competence Center – 35 Years of Experience and Innovation in 3D. In Rodgau, we have established our Handtmann AM Competence Center – a place where over 35 years of expertise and pioneering spirit in the field of additive manufacturing (AM) are concentrated. Since 1989, we have been actively shaping the future of 3D printing and setting standards in the additive manufacturing of a wide variety of materials – from plastics to aluminum. Our goal: Additive manufacturing at the highest level, from the initial idea to the finished component. At the heart of our work is the direct implementation of your concepts into tangible prototypes, functional parts, and series production components. Thanks to state-of-the-art technologies and materials such as Lauramid® PA12C, we manufacture durable, robust, and precise components – individually or in series. The entire process chain – from data preparation (slicing and nesting) through the actual printing process to surface finishing, coloring, or mechanical post-processing – takes place at our competence center in Rodgau. This guarantees you the highest quality, maximum flexibility, and short lead times: everything from a single source, all Made in Rodgau. With our investment in the Q.Big 3D – one of the most advanced large-format printers worldwide – we are able to produce components with a volume of over 1 m³. And all this at attractive material costs, as we can process standard injection molding materials. In the SLS sector, we rely on the Farsoon HT601P-2 with two laser heads, enabling us to offer maximum precision with significantly reduced production times, even for large production runs. Whether FFF, SLA, SLM, MJF, or SLS – we have a wide range of additive manufacturing processes at our disposal, processing not only our own PA12C recycled material, but also many other materials for a variety of requirements. The “Heating Films” business unit involves embedding heating wires into plastic films. It includes providing a patented contacting platform for the customer or offering the heating film with an integrated connector solution. The heating films are primarily used in autonomous driver assistance systems to keep them free of ice. Additional areas of application are, of course, also feasible.

Medical high-pressure pump for wound cleaning with a water jet. We actively participated in the development and manufacturability of this assembly with our customers and brought it to series production. All necessary tools were built in-house and assembled and manufactured in the clean room. Upon completion, the customer receives a ready-packaged and sterilized sales part.
