Weippert Kunststofftechnik GmbH
About us
We have been shaping plastics for over 30 years! We use thermoplastic injection molding to produce screws, connecting elements and technical precision molded parts from 0.1 grams to 1 kilogram.
QUALITY AND RELIABILITY
Our aim is zero-error production for products of the highest quality. The basis for this is production according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 in conjunction with modern measuring equipment and techniques. Avoiding errors through early detection and elimination make a decisive contribution to this.
Our company has been certified according to DIN EN 9001-2015 since 2010.
We are the specialist in Europe when it comes to glass fiber reinforced plastic fasteners with high tensile strength.
Products & services

WT self-tapping countersunk screw with TX drive
Our self-tapping countersunk screws allow for installation into easily formable materials such as wood, plastics, or elastomers without requiring a tapped hole, only a pilot hole. The standard plastic for our fiberglass-reinforced self-tapping countersunk screw is polyamide (PA) with 50% glass fiber content. However, screws made from PEEK with 30% glass fiber content, PE, POM, ABS, and all common thermoplastics are also available, including custom colors upon request. The mechanical and physical properties, especially tensile strength, depend on environmental conditions. Practical testing is recommended. For tightening, we recommend using a torque wrench or torque screwdriver.

WT Cylinder Head Screw with Hex Socket
WT cylinder head screws with hex socket according to WT standard WT-Z-2017 made of plastic (see material properties) with metric threads up to the head. Standard plastics for our fiberglass-reinforced plastic screws are polyamides (PA) with 30%, 50%, or 60% fiberglass content. However, screws made from PEEK with 30% fiberglass content, PE, POM, ABS, and other common thermoplastics are also available. Custom colors are possible upon request. The mechanical and physical properties, especially tensile strength, depend on environmental conditions. Practical testing is recommended. Use a torque wrench or torque screwdriver for tightening. The recommended value is 50% of the breaking torque.

WT Hexagon screw
WT hexagon screws according to WT standard WT-S-2017, made of plastic (refer to material properties) with metric threads up to the head. Standard plastics for our fiberglass-reinforced plastic screws include polyamides (PA) with 30%, 50%, or 60% glass fiber content. We also manufacture screws from PEEK with 30% glass fiber content, PE, POM, ABS, and all common thermoplastics, optionally in various colors upon request. The mechanical and physical properties, especially tensile strength, depend on environmental conditions. Practical testing is recommended. For tightening, please use a torque wrench or torque screwdriver. Recommended value = 50% of the breaking torque.

WT Flat-Head Screw with TX Drive
Flat-head screw with TX drive according to WT standard WT-F-2017 made of plastic (see material properties) with metric threads up to the head.

WT countersunk screw with slot
WT countersunk screws with slotted drive according to WT standard WT-F-2020, similar to DIN EN ISO 1207, DIN 84, made of plastic (refer to material table), with metric threads up to the head. We also manufacture screws from PVDF, PEEK, PE, POM, PVC, ABS, and all common thermoplastics, optionally in various colors upon request. The mechanical and physical properties, especially tensile strength, are subject to environmental conditions. Practical testing is recommended. For tightening, please use a torque wrench or torque screwdriver. Recommended value = 50% of the breaking torque.

WT Countersunk Screw with TX Drive
WT countersunk screws with TX drive according to WT standard WT-SK-2017 made of plastic (see material properties) with metric threads up to the head.

WT hexagon (long) nut
WT hexagon (long) nut according to WT standard WT-SM-2017, similar to DIN 6334, made of plastic (refer to material properties) with metric threads. Standard plastics for our fiberglass-reinforced plastic screws include polyamides (PA) with 30%, 50%, or 60% glass fiber content. However, nuts made from PEEK with 30% glass fiber content, PE, POM, ABS, and all common thermoplastics are also possible upon request, including custom colors. The mechanical and physical properties, especially tensile strength, depend on environmental conditions. Practical testing is recommended. For tightening, please use a torque wrench or torque screwdriver. Recommended value = 50% of the breaking torque.

WT Washer
Washer according to WT standard WT-U-2017 made of plastic (see material properties). Standard plastics for our fiberglass-reinforced plastic washers are ABS and polyamide (PA) with 30% glass fiber content. PA with 50% or 60% glass fiber content, or PE, POM... essentially all common thermoplastics, are feasible upon request, including in color as per customer preference. The mechanical and physical properties, particularly tensile strength, are subject to environmental conditions. Practical testing is recommended.
