Uniplast has been enhancing plastic materials and addressing the most
complex creations. Accuracy, quality and excellence are the underlying
principles in our company, from the choice of raw materials up to
manufacturing, from design up to the meticulous implementation of the
required profile.

MOULD DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
The process of designing the profile and the consequent development
of its mould occurs in full synergy with the client. Strong expertise
and a loyalty to the end use requirements allows a flexible path to be
outlined, ready even for any possible variables during construction.
The processes on the provided or internally created drawing, the
research for technical solutions, optimal mechanics and graphics,
translate into moulds created side by side with the person in charge of
the workshop.
In fact, from its initial phase, the future location of the profile and the
aim for excellence in performance are calculated. Prototyping and 3D
prints have been made with external collaboration for more than thirty
years: a further guarantee of quality.

EXTRUSION AND OTHER PROCESSES
Our plastic profiles are made by means of an industrial process
called “extrusion”.
Plastics extrusion is a polymer casting process that enables the
production of continuous profile sections such as tubes, rods,
and plastic profiles of various types for different uses in different
sizes. Different materials can be used in the extrusion process:
rubber, thermoplastics (PC, PMMA, PVC, ABS, Polypropylen, WPC)
and each material is suitable for specific uses.
Processes:
- precise size cuttings
- trimmings on profiles and custom frame creation
- precision drilling on drawing
- coating with decorative materials such as: paper in various finishes, PVC, various sheets of aluminium, wood veneers
- application of film in hotstamping with decorative transfer tinted with wood, aluminium and various colours

MATERIAL RESEARCH
Uniplast’s research on new materials is always
aimed at finding the ideal solution for technical
products that must meet high performances, both for
mechanical factors and areas of use.
Polycarbonate in various finishes, PMMA
(methacrylate) with new finishes and microprisms,
ABS in various formulations, polypropylene,
coextrusion polyurethane, thermoplastic rubber,
PVC in different coextrusions and triextrusions,
polystyrene and other technical polymers. The range
on offer grows from project to project, with a wide
range of applications.
The highest quality materials are achieved by
studying them side by side with those who provide
the raw material and with those who will use the final
product.
