Senoplast Klepsch & Co. GmbH – part of the Klepsch Group
Senoplast Klepsch & Co. GmbH focuses on the production of coextruded plastic sheets and films for thermoforming, which are marketed under the senosan® trademark. The areas of application for these plastic composites range from vehicle construction to travel suitcases, the sanitary and refrigerator industry, and the furniture sector. Another important area of application is agricultural vehicles and applications in the bus and rail industry, where our flame-retardant products score highly.
Around 50,000 tons of senosan® products per year are delivered to around 60 countries from the main location in Piesendorf, Austria, and the production facilities in Querétaro, Mexico, and Suzhou, China. In 2024, Senoplast and Senosan GmbH achieved a global turnover of around 280 million euros.

In the field of passenger transportation, safety, durability, and weight efficiency are important, but creative design freedom is paramount. Our senosan® plastic composites for interior applications offer all these properties and maximum variety in color, structure, and shape. Whether it's ceiling or wall panels, seat shells, or luggage racks: Senoplast supplies custom surface solutions that are aesthetically appealing and reliably meet the high safety requirements of the rail and bus sectors. We particularly focus on complying with strict flame resistance regulations to ensure maximum safety in everyday use. Senosan® for interior applications: senosan C60FR-5: Antibacterial surface for railway applications For the railroad industry and its stringent flame retardancy requirements, Senoplast has developed a material that offers new possibilities for the design of railroad interiors. The halogen-free, flame-retardant senosan C60FR-5 sheet is made of PC/ABS compound and is now available with an antibacterial matte surface. The product complies with European standard EN45545-2 (R1 HL2 and R6 HL2) and is used, for example, for ceiling and side trim in rail vehicles. senosan C60FR-5 also meets the requirements of ISO 22196 for antibacterial activity on plastic (tested at W.H.U. GmbH, Austria).
senosan PC-ABS/PMMA for automotive industry
Senoplast produces high-quality plastic sheets and films under the Senosan® and Senotop® brands for use in the automotive and commercial vehicle industries, as well as related sectors. These coextruded composites consist of either ABS/PMMA or PC-ABS/PMMA and have the following characteristics: Special properties: - Maximum UV resistance of the materials - No color variations within or between production lots - Use of highly impact- and high-temperature-resistant raw materials - Application support for assembly, bonding, and reinforcement technologies - Highest surface quality and specifications in accordance with automotive regulations Senosan® and Senotop® for automotive interiors: Senotop® carrier films for interior use are thermally laminated or laminated with printed decors during thermoforming. These films are characterized by the best surface quality and decor adhesion. Advantages of Senotop® for interiors: - Wide range of colors - Maximum depth effect and color brilliance - Excellent surface quality and decorative adhesion Senosan® and Senotop® for automotive exteriors: Senotop® carrier films for exterior use are paintable. Their multi-layer structure guarantees excellent surface quality, high heat resistance, and optimal adhesion to paint and PU foam backing material. Senoplast has been producing high-quality plastic sheets and films under the senosan® brand for more than 60 years to meet all requirements in the refrigeration industry and offers a comprehensive product portfolio for many indoor and outdoor applications.
