About us
New Albea Kunststofftechnik GmbH, located in Seelbach, is a medium-sized company in the plastics processing industry.
Our main focus is on FIM technology and the injection molding of high-quality 1K and 2K plastic parts. We also offer additional finishing processes such as hot stamping, pad printing, and assembly.
A second core business is the production of heating foils used to protect driver assistance systems. For this purpose, thin wires are embedded into a foil and electrically connected to generate heat.
We supply customers in the automotive, telecommunications, household appliance, and medical technology sectors. With modern technology, qualified employees, and a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction, we provide customized solutions for individual requirements.

Products & services
Control panel
Using the technologies available in-house, surfaces can be customized individually. Illuminated symbols, disappearing effects, color variations, or surface textures can all be implemented according to customer requirements.
Touchpad
By using special hardcoat coatings, surfaces can be given specific tactile properties. These coatings are applied by screen printing and cured with UV light after the 3D forming process.
Reflective foil
Reflective films are used to ensure uniform illumination of surfaces, for example in radomes or dial faces. Through the use of appropriate color layers and screen printing patterns, light spots are reduced and consistent light distribution is achieved.

Decorative foil for phone case
For most DECT phones from Gigaset, FIM technology is used for color design. Even wood surfaces can be replicated and, through etching textures in the injection mold, achieve the desired tactile feel.
heating foil
The “Heating Films” business unit involves embedding heating wires into plastic films. It includes providing a patented contacting platform for the customer or offering the heating film with an integrated connector solution. The heating films are primarily used in autonomous driver assistance systems to keep them free of ice. Additional areas of application are, of course, also feasible.
