About us
Founded in 1996, Granula Polymer GmbH is a family-owned company based in Groß-Umstadt (Hessen) and certified to ISO 14001 and 9001. Since the beginning, it has specialised in electrically conductive thermoplastics. Today’s core areas are the production and sale of customised masterbatches and universally applicable cleaning granulates. Granula Polymer is also innovative through research and has successfully completed research projects with renowned universities, colleges and research partners and holds several patents.
In 2023 and again in 2024, Granula Polymer GmbH was honoured as an “Employer of the Future”. In 2025, the company also received the “Deutscher Exzellenz-Preis”.

Kundenspezifische Masterbatches
Since its founding in 1996, Granula Polymer has been developing customized masterbatches. In particular, black masterbatches under the name GranaBlack and electrically conductive masterbatches of the EXL Series, for example with applications in powder coating, are among our long-standing core products. Depending on the customer's requirements, we develop specific recipes and produce the products on our machine park in Germany.
