CONSTAB Polyolefin Additives GmbH is a leading manufacturer of high-quality masterbatches for the plastics processing industry. Broad portfolio for the film industry:
One focus of our expertise lies in the production of masterbatches for the film industry. Our products optimize the properties of films for packaging, agricultural films and technical applications. From anti-blocking and slip agents to UV stabilizers and slip-antiblock masterbatches, we offer solutions that improve processability and increase product longevity.

Versatile solutions for the entire plastics industry:
In addition to the film industry, our portfolio also includes additive masterbatches that are indispensable in numerous other plastics applications. These include

ECOCELL - Chemical blowing agent for injection molding and extrusion:
A particular highlight of our product portfolio is our chemical blowing agent, which has been specially developed for injection molding and extrusion applications. Our product reduces material and energy consumption and at the same time enables a uniform, very fine cell structure. This results in lighter components with excellent mechanical properties. It is ideal for customers who want to reduce production costs and improve the sustainability of their processes at the same time.

Ecocell®

Our masterbatches are designed to optimize the properties of end products for specific applications. With Ecocell® we have a patented, endothermic chemical foaming agent (CFA) masterbatch in our product portfolio that helps to improve several requirements for plastics at the same time. The use of Ecocell® significantly reduces material consumption, and in addition, mechanical properties of the products can be optimized. Furthermore, cooling times are shortened, performance is increased and energy costs are reduced.

CON-Batch 30X

Do you want to save 30 % polypropylen in your formulation while maintaining the properties? Together with the Institute for Plastics Technology at the University of Stuttgart, we have developed a special product to be able to produce thermal films more sustainably by saving energy and materials. This project was funded by the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU). With our new product CONSTAB® CON-Batch 30X, films can be produced more densely and firmly - the film thickness, on the other hand, can be reduced by about 25 %, the heating power by about 20 %.
