Darüber hinaus ist das Unternehmen seit mehreren Jahrzehnten ein wichtiger Partner der Hubbel Harsh and Hazardous Group. In dieser Funktion agiert die Jacob GmbH als Vertriebsspezialist für Lösungen in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen. Das Produktions- und Logistikzentrum befindet sich in Kernen im Remstal, in der Nähe von Stuttgart. Hier bei Jacob ist alles unter einem Dach vereint: Entwicklung, Formenbau, Labor, Produktion und Logistik. Dies gibt uns die Freiheit, auf die Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden hochflexibel und schnell zu reagieren. Auch Einkauf, Vertrieb, Verwaltung, Labor und Qualitätssicherung befinden sich an unserem Stammsitz in Kernen-Rommelshausen. Hier werden über 200 Mio. Teile jährlich produziert. Als Komponentenfertiger sind wir hierbei für die Leistungselektronik im Bereich der Elektromobilität, der erneuerbaren Energien und der Automatisierungstechnik tätig. Beispiele sind dabei Batterieladesysteme und Elektromotorensteuerungen in Windrädern, Elektrobussen und Elektroautos. Die Fertigungstiefe beginnt bei uns mit der Entwicklung des Produktes gemeinsam mit dem Kunden. Der Produktionsprozess schließt dabei mit dem Bau von Formen, dem Fertigen eventueller Metalleinleger mit Stanz-Biege-Automaten und dem Löten und Vergießen des fertigen Bauteils an.
